Management at Naess is hand-on. It consists of well seasoned professionals dedicated to ensuring all crewing matters are efficiently executed to satisfy customer and international requirements.

Naess Directors have first-hand experience of crewing many types of vessels, securing seafarers from different countries and evaluating their performance to ensure they meet the exacting standards required.

Martin Jongenelen

As Managing Director of Naess, Martin is responsible for the success of the business as well as ensuring overall customers satisfaction. Martin aspired to the position of MD from his early days at Naess in the 1980's never forgetting the basic principle that customer satisfaction is the core of any successful business.

Today, even with his hands on the controls, Martin is an integral and intimate partner in the Company's daily operations.


Dries Van Dijk

Dries joined the old Naess in 1964 and has witnessed many changes to the Company over the years. Dries has managed the changes brought about by the increasing and ever changing regulations concerning seafarers’ qualifications and training.

Even as a Director, Dries is intimately involved in everyday crewing activities and the complexities of marrying the right crew, from the right place for the right ship.


Paloma Kalf

With a background in Company Administration and accounting Paloma performs the essential task of accounting.

With seafarers being employed from many countries, a clear mind and good experience in dealing with foreign exchange for the purposes of crew allotments and clearing other expenses is essential. Paloma successfully controls these issues and provides support for many other services and functions.
